Meet Lilith: Our Adorable Ragdoll Kitten of the Month

Hi, my names jess.

Recently my partner (Sam) and I brought a beautiful 3-month old ragdoll girl her name is Lilith or lily for short, she’s the cutest cat ever!  Her birthday is December 21, 2011.

I have always loved Ragdolls! And everything about them, I’ve always been on the look for a big fluffy cat and that’s when I came across the “ragdoll”.

I had a terrible tragedy with the passing of my beautiful boy Symbah a domestic short hair that recently died from being hit by a car!! And sadly he was only 1year old. I was deeply depressed. And didn’t want to go on… I haven’t had much luck with my kitty’s before the passing of my boy Symbah I had a very beautiful Manx called Kintah and sadly he was stolen from me L what a terrible day that was, what kind of person steals someone’s kitten….

Out of all the bad luck I’ve had surprisingly One day my partner came home and surprised me and had brought home our precious girl 🙂

I have much to learn about our kitty so if anyone has some thoughts they can share with me about ragdolls that would be much appreciated.

I also have another cat at home a domestic short hair- (ginger) named Mintey he is a grumpy 8 year old and isn’t to friendly with our little girl is there anyway we can introduce them to become more friendly with each other? I also have a 6-year-old Labrador named Otus they are slowly becoming friends but she likes to show whose boss and hiss’s at him. Her new best friend is our funny bird “frank” a rainbow lorikeet on my YouTube channel you can see some videos of them playing together.

I’m not sure on what to feed her currently she’s having rice with beef mince, as she is very fussy and doesn’t like dry food. I occasionally give her some chicken necks making sure I cut them up. I’m trying to get her to grow into a big healthy cat like a typical ragdoll.

I’m also not sure about the colors. She is a seal mitted blaze. But is she going to stay theses colour? In her photos or are they going to get darker?  How long until I see her full colors develop? Are all Ragdolls longhaired? When should I purchase a comb and how many times should I groom her?
