Nico: The Blue Bicolor Ragdoll of the Week
Hi, I am Ragdoll Mommy from my blog, Life with Ragdolls.
I have a very handsome male Ragdoll cat, his name is Nico, he is my cuddler day& nite! Nico is a Blue Bicolor Ragdoll cat, he is 5 years old. He was born in August 14th, Thursday, 2008. Nico has a sister, her name is Anya. Nico and Anya are litter mates from the same parents and the same litter.
Nico loves to play, loves the outdoors even though he is a indoor cat only. Nico has a kitty condo and he likes to sit on top of it! He also likes to fight with my mixed breed cat, Lady. He loves sitting in the window and he likes sitting in front of the TV, while someone is watching it. He also likes to watch The Florida Gators (My favorite football team) play. He loves to play fetch and he likes to play “hockey!”with an ice cube, if I throw it down the hallway he just RUNS AFTER IT, full speed ahead LOL! Nico’s favorite toy is his football toy thingy.
Nico eats Purina cat chow Complete, I know that’s not the healthiest thing out there, but that’s the only thing that doesn’t make him sick. Plus he has been eating that his whole life. But sometimes I make frozen cat food for him and Anya. Most of the time that’s what I use when we play Hockey with him lol. I normally just use cat food with water or some yogurt and olive oil,( I tried it myself… It was delicious LOL!)
; and I meant the yogurt… Not the cat food!
To do this you are gonna need to:
1: Get a large or small container with a lid, probably plastic works best.
2: Get some plain or Greek yogurt (My Ragdolls and I like Greek the best), and put some of it into a plastic container.
3: Pour a very small amount of olive oil in it, probably about a teaspoon full.
4: Stir it up with a spoon.
5: Let it sit for about 1 or 2 minutes.
6: Then put on the lid and put it in the freezer for overnight.
7: Get it out the next day and let it sit on the kitchen counter for about 5 minutes.
8: Enjoy!
Note: If you or your cat is allergic… Then please do not try this!
; and it’s also a smart idea to let your veterinarian be sure that this is okay for your kitty!
Another note: Yogurt and olive oil are both good for you and your kitty, so enjoy!
Nico likes to go for walks on his cat harness and leash! He is my baby boy!
I love the fact that he’s leash trained! So cool! I love Ragdolls!!
Nico also doesn’t mind going for car rides, but he does cry some. Poor boy….
I got Nico and his sister Anya on July 1 Sunday, 2012. From Orlando,Florida.
They were only 3 years old back then (Almost 4 years old).
Nico is declawed, I didn’t do it. But he has back claws.
Nico is a 100% real Ragdoll. He and his sister Anya are registered with the TICA. Their parents are also 100% real Ragdolls and they are registered with the TICA; and all of them have the papers to prove it!
Nico is a pet Quality Ragdoll only, I never saw ANYTHING wrong with his coloring or anything, but hey I am also not their breeder. So no telling.
Nico has the longest tail I have ever seen on any cat/Ragdoll!
Nico weighs 14lbs (Normal weigh for a Ragdoll).
I hope everyone loved Nico’s story!
