Dental Sticks for Cats

I guess specifically the natural matatabi natural root/wood sticks that you can give cats to help them clean their teeth? I am wondering the best options out there for teeth cleaning?” I replied: Ahhhh…the latest craze… Mine wouldn’t go for them at all. Doubt they really help with dental stuff – just a creative way to sell them. Video audio explains more =)

Black Spots on Cat’s Tongue

Whitney wrote in saying, “I have a 2 year old rag doll who has been eating and drinking and acting normal. But he has these black spots on his tongue. They don’t seem raised to me, but have you ever seen this. I didn’t really notice it before and Sunday night he yawned big and I saw that and so now I’m worried”

“The vet said it is either pigmentation or built up flea dirt as we are having a flea problem at the moment, ugh. We are having an exterminator come. They said since he is acting normal and grooming and is still young there is no cause for concern. I’m taking pictures of it every few days to note any changes for documentation.”

Kitten with HCM

Of course I’ve been a blubbering mess all day, because i know what that means! I got my raggie from a TICA certified breeder who supposedly tested him as HCM negative! We are absolutely in love with him and my husband and I are truly tore up inside! My questions are: Do any of your devoted followers have a Ragdoll that was diagnosed with HCM and what was their quality of life? Have you been able to help them in any way? Do you use any supplements that you would recommend? How did you handle this situation with your breeder who sold you a sick cat? My cat had a brother and a sister in his litter, so I’m sure my baby is not the only one with a problem. If you could share this information, I would greatly appreciate any feedback I receive!
