Ragdoll Cats Love Whole Life Pet's RealFoodie Treats – A Trusted Review
As many of you know, I have given my 10/11-year old Ragdoll Cats, Trigg and Charlie, Whole Life Pet Products treats. When we come in from outside, I give them their “Just One” treats, which are single ingredient freeze dried muscle meat treats. The chicken, for example, is chicken breast that has been freeze dried. We recently reviewed their newest treat line – realFoodie – which are whole grilled chicken breasts or whole salmon filets – that you can serve whole or break apart.
After that review, Whole Life asked me if I wanted to try their Living Treats – I was reluctant. I don’t really know why I was other than I wasn’t quite sure about yogurt for the kitties. Here’s what Whole Life said, “With dairy in both dogs and cats, lactose intolerance is a risk, but an extremely low one. A very low percentage of pets have that issue, although some do. Also we opted for yogurt because the lactose in yogurt is much lower than in straight milk.”

I figured a trial run wouldn’t hurt – so I asked them to send some. As you can see in the video, they both liked them – Chiggy liked the Salmon more, but Charlie ate both the chicken and salmon. The next day, they both had huge full poops in their litterbox. Charlie has problems with constipation on and off – Trigg does not. But after being with my parents’ almost 16-year old cats, I know how well pooping can be a problem as they age, so I was excited to see the two huge poops – and definitely think it was the treats that did it.
