Miles – Meet Our Adorable Ragdoll Kitten of the Month
Submitted September 8, 2020
We would like to introduce you to a wonderful little kitty. This handsome little boy’s name is Miles.
He was long waited for by our kiddo. When we decided to get a pet for our son, we wanted a pet that our kiddo could bond with and play with. So my husband researched cat breeds, because that is our sons favorite animal.
He found the Ragdoll. We watched just about every Ragdoll cat video out there and fell in love. So My Husband located a breeder just a few hours away from us, and gave Nicki a call.
She had a Queen that was ready to give birth any day….(that was in May).So after we got the call that the kittens were born, we asked her if she could send us a picture of the new little boy that would soon be ours.
So she began to send us weekly updated pictures. We were getting so excited that we asked her if we could possibly meet him. So at 7 weeks old we got to drive to meet him. It took us 3.5 hours to get there but it was well worth it.
We were in love at first sight. Then we had to leave him, so he could stay with his Mommy for about 5 more weeks. we thought the day to pick him up would never come!! But thankfully it finally arrived.
This time Nicki agreed to meet us about 1.5 hours away. We could not get there fast enough. I wish ya’ll could have seen the smile on our kiddos face when he finally got to hold Miles in his arms.
He was so in love with this beautiful kitten. You may be wondering where we got the name Miles… Miles’ name came from one of our sons favorite cartoons that he watches, and we think it fits perfectly. We love his cuddly yet VERY playful personality.
He LOVES to climb and jump and play. It mazes us and entertains us all the time how well he jumps around. He loves to stalk his toys and when he is ready to pounce he gets low to the ground and shakes his little butt, and attacks!!!
It is the funniest and cutest thing you will ever see. He plays hard and sleeps hard too. He likes to sleep a lot since he is almost 4 months old. But it is sometimes hard to get rest because his best friend (our 8-year old son) loves to snuggle and hold him.
His favorite treat is freeze dried sardines, and he loves to eat his Core brand canned food. He is a growing boy and we love him so very much!! we also enjoy taking him out sometimes because everyone loves him and how beautiful he is. He is actually laying on my arm right now. He is the best addition to our family. We just love him and his curious and spunky and super snuggly personality. He is the best!!
