Do Cats Remember After Years?

Cats can definitely remember experiences for months or even years. One of the most extensive tests of long-term memory in cats involved more than 100 household pets at the Animal Behavioral Clinic at Cornell University. When tested three years after their initial training, the cats still remembered how to perform nine different tricks. Even five years after the initial training, 76 percent of the cats still remembered at least one trick.
