How to Make Homemade Cat Spray Odor Remover

Here's how to make your cat spray odor remover:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup distilled white vinegar

- 1/2 cup baking soda

- 2 teaspoons liquid Castile soap

- 2 cups of warm water

Instructions:

1. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl or bucket until the baking soda is completely dissolved.

2. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and shake well.

3. Test the spray on a small, inconspicuous area of the carpet or fabric to ensure it does not cause any discoloration.

4. If the test is successful, spray the mixture directly onto the cat urine stains and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

5. Blot the area with a clean, dry cloth to remove the liquid.

6. Repeat steps 4-5 if necessary until the stain and odor are completely removed.

7. Allow the area to dry completely before allowing your cat back into the area.

Tips:

- For stubborn stains, you can make a paste by mixing baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for several hours or overnight. Then, vacuum up the paste and rinse the area with warm water.

- If the odor persists, you can try using a commercial enzyme cleaner specifically designed for removing pet stains and odors.

- Always test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire stain.

- Keep your cat's litter box clean and in a convenient location. This will help to prevent them from urinating outside of the box.
