Anyone who's ever spent much time on a treadmill or stair climber at the gym has no doubt felt like cursing the equipment at some point. An entertaining TikTok video with "My cat having a heated argument with his treadmill" written over the top of it shows a Bengal cat chattering nonstop as he walks on his exercise wheel. The video is captioned "He has a lot to say 😹."

Viewers were charmed by the loquacious feline. One wrote, "Sweet kitty." Another suggested, "He's just counting laps." Some people shared stories of their own verbose pets, with one netizen commenting, "My boy squeaks while he runs on his," and another sharing, "I have a cat that does this on his wheel as well. Always makes me laugh."
It will come as no surprise to the owner of any Bengal cat that the chatterbox shown in the video is also a Bengal. As one of the noisiest cat breeds — alongside Siamese and Orientals — Bengals are renowned for their talkative natures. But what are some of the other Bengal cat breed characteristics?
All about Bengal cats
Bengal cats were created in the 1960s when Asian leopard cats and domestic cat breeds were crossed, resulting in the captivating creatures we see today. The hybrid aimed to combine the amiable disposition of domestic pets with the exotic looks of wild cats. Oftentimes, Bengal fur has a gorgeous sheen to it that makes the coat shimmer, almost like satin. Bengals are so striking-looking, with their glittering fur, muscular builds, and leopard-like spots (called rosettes), that they have also become one of the most stolen cat breeds.
Bengals are an energetic cat breed even dog people will love, with their eagerness to please their owners and their aptitude for learning new tricks and playing fetch. Bengals have oodles of energy and curiosity, they're extremely smart, and they love to play. Most of them enjoy exploring vertical spaces — check out this Bengal cat sprinting along her climbing walls — and they often enjoy walking on a leash. Exercise wheels are a great idea for Bengals, even if, like the cat in the TikTok video, they spend the entire time arguing with the wheel. We can definitely relate.
