What Attracts Fleas?

* Warmth: Fleas are cold-blooded, so they're attracted to warm bodies. They're most active in spring and summer when the weather is warm.

* Moisture: Fleas need moisture to survive, so they're often found in damp areas, such as under bushes, in tall grass, and along bodies of water.

* Carbon dioxide: Fleas are attracted to carbon dioxide, which is exhaled by humans and animals. This is why they're often found on the back of the neck or ankles, where the blood vessels are close to the surface of the skin.

* Dark colors: Fleas are more attracted to dark colors than light colors. This is because dark colors absorb heat, which makes them more attractive to fleas.

* Movement: Fleas are attracted to movement, so they're often found on moving objects, such as humans, animals, and vehicles.
