Puppy Takes Car for a Joy Ride

Canton, MA – 5 month old Rosie, a German Shepherd got into a bit of trouble with the police this week.  Rosie’s owner John Costello was moving his car at a local park when the pup jumped in with him.  She ended up hitting the gear shift and falling onto the gas pedal, she drove them right into a pond.  The car, a Dodge Neon, was a total loss but they both made it out of the pond unharmed.

When police arrived they found the situation quite amusing, officer Robert Quirk tweeted a picture of the perp.
