Dog Finds Long-Lost Wedding Ring in Wisconsin Miracle
Wisconsin Dog Pukes up Wedding Ring Missing for 5 Years
When Lois Matykowski of Wisconsin lost her wedding ring 5 years ago she was devastated. She had been married for 20 years at that point and had just gotten the ring upgraded. It wasn’t insured. She searched every bit of her home, yard, even the her dog Tucker’s poop for weeks. She eventually gave up.
A few weeks ago Lois was reunited with her beloved ring when her 10 year old dog Tucker puked it up. He had been sick from eating an popsicles (sticks and all). Tucker’s vet said the stick from the frozen treat may have dislodged the ring from it’s position in his belly, finally forcing it out.
The 10 year old Rottweiler mix had a full x-ray to make sure he’s not packing any more surprises. Matykowski told WAOW-TV “I have my wedding ring back and Tucker is big dog on campus right now,” she said. “He’s my hero.”
