Craigslist Dog Listings: Responsible Trading & Adoption Opportunities
More Dogs For Trade on Craigslist
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. This is how we use the great networking tool known as craigslist, to trade our dogs for gaming systems and younger or prettier dogs. Perhaps this is part of the reason we have so many homeless pets; no one seems to remember that they’re supposed to be a lifelong commitment.
I’m sure there are some good dogs listed on craigslist, just as some desperate owners that don’t know where else to turn. But these posters are trying to make trades for their dogs…
I’m not advocating any of these trades; I find it extremely depressing sad that there are so many of these dog trading posts. I can only hope that these dogs end up in nice loving homes.

🙁

I’ll trade one dog I don’t want for two smaller ones please.
Yeah, he’s not to be neutered and put in a kennel! Chained up in my back yard til I can find a female is way better.

Priorities…

Is a partial trade for half a dog? Is this just fancy backyard breeder talk?
It better be a good game system, none of that N64 crap.
I just want to trade for a younger dog, does that make me a bad person? I’d say yes.

Worth a Shih Tzu or IPad…
Puppies for guns!

This photo is so depressing, maybe he knows he’s about to be traded for some rims.

Apparently a Bully isn’t enough of a man toy.
