Heartwarming Smiles: Senior Dogs Find New Homes & Joy
I’ve got a real soft spot for senior dogs; nothing warms my heart more than seeing these lovely dogs being given a second chance and seeing what true gratefulness is all about. Senior dogs smiling are some of the best smiles on Earth.
Muttville Senior Dog Rescue
Muttville Senior Dog Rescue is a non profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs 7 years of age or older. They’re based in San Fransisco and have been helping give seniors and special needs dogs a second chance at life since 2007.
They work to improve the lives of senior dogs by providing them with new homes if they’re adoptable or hospice care if they are not. Through associations with shelters and other rescue groups Muttville takes in dogs that aren’t likely to find new homes. They provide medical care and foster homes until a suitable new home is found.
Ultimately Muttville plans to have a facility to help hold dogs until they can find foster homes or new forever homes. They rely on donations and support to be able to continue to improve the lives of these wonderful senior dogs. If you or anyone you know has a special spot for senior dogs in your heart consider sharing their lovely message.
