What Time of Day Are Dogs Most Active?

Dogs are most active in the morning, twilight (early morning/late evening), and evening. While dogs can sleep at any point during the day it appears that they prefer a polyphasic sleep pattern made up of frequent, short naps. Most dogs spend an average of 12 to 14 hours asleep each day.
