Can Dogs Be Racist?

The concept of racism involves social and cultural behavior motivated by racial prejudice, and it is inappropriate to attribute such notions to non-human entities. Racism is exclusively rooted in the learned social behaviors of certain human societies. Dogs and most non-human species operate based on instincts, survival, pack interactions, and other behavioral drives rather than the social constructs humans assign to themselves. Dogs generally do not discriminate or exhibit prejudicial treatment based on factors like ethnicity, origin, or skin color. Their responses toward people or other animals typically stem from learned experiences during their upbringing, training, and individual instincts.
