How to Get Dog Urine Stains Off Ceramic Tile
Materials needed:
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Scrub brush
- Mop
- Bucket
- Rubber gloves
Instructions:
1. Blot up the urine as soon as possible. The sooner you do this, the less likely it is to stain the tile.
2. Rinse the area with water. This will help to remove any residual urine.
3. Sprinkle baking soda on the stain. Be sure to cover the entire stain.
4. Spray the baking soda with white vinegar. This will cause a chemical reaction that will help to break down the stain.
5. Let the mixture sit for several minutes. This will give the baking soda and vinegar time to work their magic.
6. Scrub the stain with a scrub brush. Be sure to scrub in a circular motion.
7. Rinse the area with water. This will remove any residual baking soda and vinegar.
8. Mop the floor. This will help to remove any residual moisture.
9. Repeat steps 3-8 if necessary. You may need to repeat these steps several times to completely remove the stain.
*Note: Always test a small area before using any cleaning solution to be used on ceramic tiles to make sure it doesn't damage the finish.*
