How To Make Your Own Dog Gravy for Food
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 2 cups beef broth
* 1/4 cup water
* 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add the flour and whisk to combine.
3. Cook the flour for 1-2 minutes, or until it is golden brown.
4. Slowly whisk in the beef broth and water.
5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the gravy has thickened.
6. Add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
7. Stir to combine.
8. Serve the gravy over your dog's food.
Tips:
* You can use any type of flour to make dog gravy, but whole wheat flour is a good choice because it is high in fiber.
* If you don't have any beef broth on hand, you can use chicken broth or vegetable broth instead.
* Add some cooked, shredded meat to the gravy for extra flavor.
* You can also add some fresh herbs, such as parsley or rosemary, to the gravy.
* Store leftover dog gravy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Note:
* Before feeding your dog any new food, always consult with your veterinarian.
