Create a Festive DIY Christmas Stocking for Your Dog
When Christmas comes around, you don't want Fido to feel left out, so here is a handy and simple way to personalize any stocking for your puppy.
You can get almost everything you need at a large craft store like Michaels. With all DIY pet projects, it's important to use non-toxic paints, in case your dog tries to chew on her Christmas stocking.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Stocking
- Non-toxic fabric paint
- Glitter
- Fabric markers or squeezable paint
- Glitter
- Newspaper
- Paper plates
- Paper towels
- Sponge
- Treats and toys
- Your pup
Step 1
Spread newspaper or a tarp on the floor of your workspace.
Step 2
Squeeze paint onto a paper plate.
Step 3
Press your dogs paw onto the paint and then onto the stocking.
Step 4
Quickly sprinkle glitter onto the paint.
Step 5
Repeat the process a few more times, trying different colors of paint until you've covered the stocking with the right amount of holiday paw prints.
Step 6
Once the prints have dried, use a fabric marker or non-toxic paint to write your dogs name on the top of the stocking.
And there you go! What will Santa bring your puppy this Christmas?
