How to Crochet Puppy Booties
These adorable puppy booties are the perfect way to keep your furry friend's feet warm and protected. They're easy to make and only require a few basic crochet skills.
Materials
* Worsted weight yarn (I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in "Charcoal")
* 5mm crochet hook
* Tapestry needle
Instructions
1. Chain 20.
2. Single crochet into the 2nd chain from the hook and into each chain across. (20 sc)
3. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into each stitch across. (20 sc)
4. Repeat Step 3 for 4 more rows.
5. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 10 stitches.
6. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 9 stitches.
7. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 9 stitches.
8. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 8 stitches.
9. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 8 stitches.
10. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 7 stitches.
11. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 7 stitches.
12. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 6 stitches.
13. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 6 stitches.
14. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 5 stitches.
15. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 5 stitches.
16. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 4 stitches.
17. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 4 stitches.
18. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 3 stitches.
19. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 3 stitches.
20. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the next 2 stitches.
21. Chain 1, turn. Single crochet into the first 2 stitches.
22. Chain 1, skip the next stitch, single crochet into the last stitch.
23. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Finishing
1. Weave in any ends.
2. Fold the bootie in half so that the right sides are together.
3. Sew the side seams together using a whip stitch.
4. Sew the top of the bootie together using a whip stitch, leaving a small opening for the puppy's leg.
5. Turn the bootie right side out.
6. Enjoy your new puppy booties!
