How to Get Oily Ear Drops Off of a Fur
2. Apply a degreaser. There are a number of different degreasers that you can use to remove oily ear drops from fur. Some common options include:
* Dish soap
* Laundry detergent
* Degreaser spray
* Rubbing alcohol
3. Work the degreaser into the fur. Once you have applied the degreaser, use your fingers or a soft brush to work it into the fur. Be sure to get the degreaser into all of the affected areas.
4. Rinse the fur. Rinse the fur thoroughly with warm water. Be sure to remove all of the degreaser.
5. Dry the fur. Use a clean, dry towel to dry the fur. Be sure to dry the fur completely, as damp fur can attract more dirt and oil.
Additional tips:
* Brush the fur. Before you clean the fur, brush it out to remove any dirt or debris. This will help to loosen the oil and make it easier to remove.
* Test the degreaser. Before you use a degreaser, test it on a small area of the fur to make sure that it does not damage the fabric.
* If the oil does not come out the first time, repeat steps 2-5.
Once the oil has been removed, you may want to brush your pet's ears again to clean any leftover traces of oils that would not have made it in the washes
