How to Feed Dogs Wheat Germ
You can feed wheat germ to your dog by adding a tablespoon or two of whole wheat germ to their food once or twice a month. Ensure your dog does not have wheat intolerance or allergies if it's the very first time. Small breed dogs should take smaller quantities, maybe a tsp.
Wheat germ provides a great dose of protein (and is usually 25%+ crude protein), fiber, healthy fat, as well as several vitamins and minerals like vitamin E, zinc, folate, choline, niacin, magnesium, manganese, and more.
