How to Remove Eye Gunk and Hard Fur On a Yorkie
Eye Gunk
1. Gently wipe away the gunk with a soft cloth. Be careful not to rub the eye, as this could irritate it further.
2. Use a cotton ball dampened with warm water to remove any stubborn gunk.
3. Rinse the eye with a saline solution. This will help to remove any remaining gunk and soothe the eye.
4. Apply a small amount of antibiotic ointment to the eye. This will help to prevent infection.
Hard Fur
1. Brush your Yorkie's fur regularly to prevent it from becoming matted. Use a soft brush and brush in the direction of hair growth.
2. If your Yorkie's fur is already matted, you can use a detangling spray to help loosen the mats. Work the spray into the matted fur and then use a comb to gently separate the mats.
3. Once the mats are removed, brush your Yorkie's fur thoroughly.
4. Give your Yorkie a bath every few weeks to help keep its fur clean and healthy. Use a mild shampoo and conditioner and be sure to rinse the fur thoroughly.
Tips
* If your Yorkie's eye gunk or hard fur is severe, you should take it to the vet.
