Essential Tips for Effective Pet Training
It is important to keep your special furry pet healthy and in shape through routine training and exery. Exercise does not only boosts your pet’s overall well being, it also improves it immune system and response. In this post, we’re going to be talking about training your special furry pet.

There are a lot of training exercises you can do with your pet, from the simple ones to more complex ones.
However, before you start training your dog, there are few things you should know.
In this article, we’re going to take a look at a few things you should know before you train your pet. Some people think that training a pet is something you can just jump into. We feel we should share this with you.
1. START SIMPLE:
You’re probably not an expert pet training if you’re reading this, right? The first thing you should know about training a pet is that you should start with simple tricks before thinking of making your pet jump through hoops or do leg stands.

Start with simple tricks like getting your pet recognize its name when called and sit when told to sit.
2. TAKE SHORT BREAKS:
Don’t expect your pet to learn a trick within a day no matter how easy you think it is. The key to training your pet is creating a room for mutual understanding and respect.
Don’t rush into it. Whenever you seem to hit a wall, take short breaks from the exercise and pick up where you have left later.

Building a lasting skill in your special furry pet through training is something that takes time to make it a part of your dog.
Always remember to take breaks so that you don’t both burn out or get frustrated as getting upset will affect your bond.
3. DON’T GET MAD:

A little addition from the point above. You shouldn’t get mad when training your pet. It’s natural to get upset because you see the skills as something easy to do. It’s not the same for your dog. First of all there’s the language barrier, and then you’re teaching it something that it didn’t know how to do before.
Whenever you feel like you’d get upset, take a break from the training, show your special furry friend love and do something fun.
4. GIVE TREATS:
Reward good behaviors with treats. Whenever your special furry pet does a behavior you like and want it to continue doing, give it a treat. That’s a simple way to reinforce the behaviors you want.

5. DON’T PUNISH
Punishment is not allowed when training your pet, even for bad behaviors. Instead of punishment, take away treats. Don’t give your pet treats when it does a bad behavior.
Punishment can be emotionally scarring for pets. It affects how they feel about you. If they get punished, they may get scared of you and cover in fear or get defensive.

Please don’t punish your pet 🙁
