How to Repair a Flexi Retractable Dog Leash

Flexi retractable dog leashes are a popular choice for dog owners because they offer more freedom for dogs to roam while still allowing owners to maintain control. - New leash cord (purchase replacement cord or paracord)

- Cord cutter or scissors

- Phillips head screwdriver

- Small wrench or pliers

- Wire cutters (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Remove the old leash cord.

_1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the handle of the leash to the body._

_2. Once the screws are removed, you should be able to separate the handle from the body of the leash._

_3. Pull the old leash cord out of the handle and discard it._

Step 2: Prepare the new leash cord.

_1. Cut the new leash cord to the desired length._

_2. If you are using paracord, melt the ends of the cord with a lighter to prevent fraying._

_3. Attach one end of the cord to the handle of the leash and tie it securely with a knot._

Step 4: Reassemble the leash.
