Company Announcement

Go Raw LLC, headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, has expanded its voluntary recall initiated on February 17, 2026 to include two additional lots of Quest Cat Food Chicken Recipe frozen products due to potentially low levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1). The expanded recall now covers the following lots:

The affected products are sold in beige, zip‑lock, 2‑lb packages with a purple stripe. They are distributed nationwide and have been removed from shelves in the following states: CO, UT, WA, OR, PA, RI, MI, CA, TX, IL, GA, NC, SC, FL, MN, NY, OH, WI, ID, MT.

Health Implications

Thiamine is essential for feline health. A diet low in this vitamin can lead to deficiency, which may manifest first as decreased appetite, excessive salivation, vomiting, failure to grow, and weight loss. If left untreated, neurological signs can develop, including neck ventroflexion, mental dullness, vision changes, wobbliness, circling, falling, and seizures.

Veterinary evaluation should be sought immediately if any of these signs are observed. Early intervention typically reverses the condition.

Consumer Guidance

Owners who purchased the recalled product should:

  • Stop feeding the product to their cats.
  • Return the item to the retailer for a full refund or a replacement.
  • Hold onto the original packaging; the UPC and lot code are printed on the front of the bag.

Replacement inventory is expected to reach distribution channels by mid‑March. Go Raw LLC will provide further updates as they become available.

For questions or concerns, contact Go Raw LLC at [email protected] or call 801‑432‑7478 (Mon‑Fri, 9 a.m.‑4 p.m. MST).

“We take the safety and well‑being of pets extremely seriously,” said Shantel Goodrich, LVT, VP of Operations. “Rather than risk any potential concern, we removed the affected product from the market and are replacing it with a formulation that meets our stringent nutritional standards.”
