Company Announcement

On October 9, 2025, Raw Bistro Pet Fare of Cannon Falls, MN voluntarily recalled two sizes of its frozen beef dog food after laboratory testing identified potential Salmonella contamination.

Salmonella exposure can affect both animals and humans. Pet owners should wash hands thoroughly after handling recalled products, and should be alert to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever in humans, and lethargy, diarrhea, or fever in pets.

While no illnesses have been reported from this lot, any sign of infection warrants prompt veterinary or medical attention.

The recalled lot was distributed directly to consumers and to selected distributors from September 1 to September 17, 2025 in California, Colorado, Illinois, and Minnesota. Products were sold frozen in sealed packaging.

The recall covers:

• Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass‑Fed Beef Entrée, Frozen – 3 lb bag (UPC 858833002247) Lot 239, Best By 08/27/2026.
• Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass‑Fed Beef Entrée, Bulk, Frozen – 18 lb case (UPC 858833002629) Lot 239, Best By 08/27/2026.

Both items bear a “Best By” date of 08/27/2026 and lot number 239 printed near the bottom of the back of the bag or box.

Recall Cause & Testing

FDA sampling of a distributor’s stock confirmed Salmonella presence. No pet or human illnesses linked to this lot have been reported to date.

Consumer Guidance

If you possess the recalled product, please:

• Do not feed it to pets or other animals.
• Do not sell or donate the product.
• Sanitize all pet‑food bowls, scoops, utensils, storage containers, and any surfaces that may have contacted the product.
• Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Return the product to the retailer for a full refund, or dispose of it securely to prevent access by children, pets, or wildlife.
