The SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl

SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl: Secure, Microchip-Activated FeedingSeveral months back we posted about the SureFeed Microchip Feeder and ironically, I just saw one at our vet’s office this past week.  It was exciting to see it in person because I had heard such good things.  The manager mentioned that one of the vet techs was using it and loved it.

As a cat blogger, SureFlap (the folks in the UK that make the SureFeed Microchip Feeder) is an absolute delight to work with.  With that said, though, you should know that if I don’t believe in a product’s concept or idea, I will not support it no matter how great the company is to me.  So, in other words, SureFlap/SureFeed has been a win-win relationship and that speaks volumes for me.  As a consumer and a human, I am loyal to companies because of their integrity and their products.  And SureFlap sure has integrity in their business to business dealings.  I would guess that would be the case with their business to consumer relationships as well.  If you have purchased a SureFeed feeder or their SureFlap pet door, please do share your experience with their products below in the comments.

SureFeed is coming out with a sealed pet bowl.  They were going to send us one to review as well – I think that might still be the case down the road, but I am not sure.  I would be happy to check it out and hope that the next one that they come out with is a refrigerated one (hint, hint).

Anyway, I wanted to announce it’s upcoming arrival, as I love this idea for those who can’t be at home all day with their kitties, but who like to feed their kitties wet food.

SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl: Secure, Microchip-Activated Feeding

The SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl has a motion-activated lid that keeps food fresher and free of flies (if you live in an area where those are a problem).  Unlike their microchip activated SureFeed cat feeder, this one is motion-activated and is not operated by a microchip or a collar tag.  It’s great for single or multi-pet homes that don’t require segregated feeding.

I can see this bowl being ideal for my brother’s home – the smell of many cat food cans makes him gag and a sealed bowl would help the smells of canned cat food in the kitchen.

The SureFeed Sealed Pet Bowl could be used for water too and would therefore keep debris from getting into the water bowl.  Or help wet food from drying out quickly.

The insert bowl is currently plastic, but I believe they are planning on offering a stainless steal or ceramic insert bowl instead for those kitties with zit problems.
