Top Paw How to Put on a Adjustable Harness
1. Adjust the harness to fit your dog. The slides on all straps are adjustable. Adjust the neck/chest strap first. Fasten the buckle by sliding the strap through the adjustment buckle until the desired fit is achieved. Adjust the chest strap so that it is snug, but not too tight. The back strap is adjustable by using the same type of buckle as the neck and chest strap.
2. Slip the harness over your dog's head and buckle the neck strap. Make sure that the harness is snug, but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers between the harness and your dog's skin.
3. Fasten the chest buckle securely. Make sure the buckle is flat against your dog's body.
4. Attach the leash to the harness. The leash should attach to the D-ring on the back of the harness.
