Maltese Hero Finds Lost Wallet, Bringing Joy to North Douglas Community
Maltese Finds Lost Wallet
A 7 month old Maltese named Lady Bunny is making headlines this week after finding a wallet its owner didn’t even know was missing. Rudy Vonda is a sanitation worker who drives a route that includes Lady Bunny’s home in the North Douglas neighborhood of Alaska.
On Monday the dog came home with a wallet in her mouth – her owners contacted Vonda to tell him they found his wallet. Vonda didn’t even realize it had been missing. “I didn’t even know my wallet was missing. I checked my back pocket to make sure,” Vonda said. “When the lady said a dog brought my wallet home, I figured it was a Labrador or German Shepherd.”
When Vonda went to pick up the wallet he was expecting a Lab or German Shepherd, instead he was greeted by owner Bonnie Gruening and the little white dog in her arms. The dog’s head is barely bigger than the wallet. See more at JuneauEmpire.
One more story proving once again why dogs are called mans best friend.
