Understanding Your Dog's Body Language: A Guide to Stronger Bonds
Dogs communicate by body language. They may be trying to communicate how they feel through an action or an expression. It is important for you to be able to read his body language so that you can communicate and have a better more understanding relationship with your pet. When you walk him make sure your are confident and in control. If your pet senses that you are lacking confidence he will use this to his advantage and take over.
When training your best friend remember short phases are best, walk, sit, come, shake, no and don’t forget to also let him know when he is a good boy. A dog can display all kinds of emotions through body language such as:fear, love, happiness, sadness, hunger. Pay attention to what he is trying to tell you. Pay extra attention to his tail(if he wagging his tail you know he is happy and content). His head, ears and his back. Dogs are smart and if you stay calm and listen to them they may teach you a thing or two.
