Constipation is painful and uncomfortable for our best friends. It is one of the most common health problems. Signs of constipation includes dry, hard stools and straining or forcing to defecate.
Causes of constipation:
-lack of exercise
-dehydration (give your pet more water)
-too much or too little fiber
-ingestion of stones, bones, toy parts
How can you alleviate constipation in your pet? Look at your pet’s diet
1-Use a stool softener
2-Add fiber, wheat bran or Metamucil
3-Increase exercise
4-An enema administered by a professional
