Dog How to Make a Homemade Diaper for Who Is in Heat

* 1 piece of cotton fabric (a large enough piece to wrap around your dog's waist with a little overlap)

* 1 piece of thin, absorbent material (such as a disposable menstrual pad or a baby diaper)

* 2 safety pins

* A diaper or maxi pad liner (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut the cotton fabric into a rectangular shape that is long enough to wrap around your dog's waist and wide enough to cover their genitals.

2. If using a disposable menstrual pad or baby diaper as the absorbent material, cut it to the same size as the cotton fabric. If using a diaper liner, cut it to a smaller size so that it fits inside the cotton fabric.

3. Place the absorbent material inside the cotton fabric, centered on the fabric.

4. Fold the cotton fabric in half lengthwise, so that the absorbent material is enclosed in the fold.

5. Wrap the fabric around your dog's waist, overlapping it slightly, and pin it in place using the safety pins.

6. (Optional) If you want added absorbency, you can place a diaper liner inside the cotton fabric, between the fabric and the absorbent material.

Tips

* Make sure the diaper is snug but not too tight, as this could cause your dog discomfort.

* If your dog has a long tail, you may need to make a hole in the diaper for it to go through.

* If your dog is very active, you may need to change the diaper more frequently.
