Top Lockdown Activities to Enjoy with Your Pet

Who says that the COVID-19 lockdown has to be boring? Especially when you have your amazing furry friend with you, I don’t see why it should get boring. There are several fun activities you can do with your furry friend during this lockdown. All the fun activities you didn’t have the time to do. All those activities you had to put off because of work. Well, the good news is that you have time to do all these things with your special furry friend.

And I can promise you that it is going to be a wonderful bonding experience for both of you. In this article, we are going to make you a list of fun activities you can engage in with your furry friend during this coronavirus lockdown.

This lockdown doesn’t have to be boring anymore. The following are the activities we think you and your furry friend will enjoy during this lockdown:

1. Tain your pet

You can take this time to train your pet and teach it new skills. I am sure you have seen how cool it is watching other pets do certain tricks. Wouldn’t it be cool if your pet could do such tricks? Well, you have the time to teach your pet these cool tricks. Check our post on pet training here

2. Play games with your pet

You probably haven’t been getting enough time to play with your pet because you have always been engaged. You now have the time in the world to play games with your pet. You will surely enjoy the level of bonding that comes with the games.

3. Create videos with your pet

Pets are loved on social media. This might be the time to get your pet a social media account. Or even better, use your account to share wonderful videos of you and your special furry friend. People love videos of cute pets. Make your pet social media famous…lol. But most importantly, have fun with it.

4. Snap cool pictures with your pet

Get on Instagram and share amazing pictures of your model (your pet). Turn yourself into a photographer, shoot pictures of you and your special furry friend, make social media go wild!

5. Go on playdates

Have you ever taken your pet out on a date? If you haven’t, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to take your special pet on a date at home. Create a nice atmosphere for you and your pet to wine and dine. You will have fun out of it.

6. Play dress up

We know it is not Halloween yet but it wouldn’t hurt anybody to dress up in costumes and snap pictures. It will be a marvelous experience to go out of the norm. Play dress up, share the pictures on Instagram, and tag us @instantaneous_pet for a shoutout. You can even reenact events from your favorite movies/history. We will be glad to be a part of it.

7. Sing along

Sing along with your pet. It may not come out the same way the artist made it but how cares when you are having fun doing it. There are several videos on YouTube of pets doing sing along and it is really cute. We want to see it.

8. Dog Yoga:

Dog yoga is a nice way to connect with your pet through yoga. It is an exercise for both the body and the soul.
