Johnny and Rebecca were proud parents of a beautiful baby boy. They wanted him to learn responsibility at an early age. At 4 years old his mom decided it was time to get Ralphie a new pet. John and Rebecca decided on a new kitten. Ralphie loved cats. He loved going to the pet store just to look at all the new cats.

One day Johnny took Ralphie and Rebecca to the pet store. Ralphie was so excited. He couldn’t wait. All of a sudden he saw the kitten he wanted. He decided to ask his mom. She said, “Yes, you can have him!” He thought it was a dream. All of a sudden he saw Johnny holding the kitten in his arms. He realized it was all real. He ran over and kissed the kitten. She looked at him and it was love. She was waiting just for him.

They took the cat home and named him Sonny. Sonny grew into a beautiful cat. He was so protective of Ralphie. They were insparable best friends.
