Cataract-Blind Dog Embraces Abandoned Kittens, Becoming Their Mother

A family found some abandoned kittens that were so young they had not yet opened their eyes yet. The kittens needed a mother figure or they would not survive the early days. And so the couple introduced their dog to the kittens. The dog was blind though because she suffered from severe cataracts.

The kittens were more than happy to call the dog their mother. From the moment that they met, the kittens nuzzled into the dog and even tried to nurse from her. Tongue baths and snuggles were plentiful from the blind dog who didn’t care that these kittens were not hers.
