The Benefits of Feeding Your Pet Organic Fruits & Vegetables
You probably already know that conventionally-grown fruits and vegetables today are sprayed with loads of pesticides and are full of synthetic chemicals. And these synthetics are NOT good for our health.
Because of this, many of us opt for organic options as much as we can. But have you thought about this for your pets?
Add Organics to Your Pet’s Diet
To be the best pet parent possible, I urge you to include as many organic fruits and vegetables into your pet’s diet as you can. Most conventionally-made pet food diets aren’t using organics. If you aren’t sure how to tell the difference, just check the label. If it doesn’t say organic, then it’s conventional and you’ll know that the food contains synthetics.
Personally, I make a homemade diet for my cat so I can use and select my own organic fruits and vegetables to add. There are also some companies out there who do use organic fruits and veggies in their diets, such as:
- Small Batch company
- Primal brand company
Just do some research and check around until you find a good source of food for your pet that includes organics!
Keep those pets healthy and happy everyone!
