Colorado Couple Shares Natural Kitten Birth Story in Heartwarming Post
Are you tired of all those new-baby posts that clutter up your social media feeds? Bet you’ve never seen ‘new baby’ pictures like these, thanks to this hilarious Colorado couple!
Lucy Schultz and her partner Steven adopted a rescue kitten. And, like any good new parents, they celebrated the arrival of their new (furry) bundle of joy with pictures!
But y’all…these weren’t just any pictures.
No, these pictures were as if Lucy had actually given birth to a cat, and they were maternity and birth photos featuring their new addition.

But humans don’t give birth to kittens, you say.
Ahhh…with the magic of digital photography and a few fabulous camera angles, that matters not, as these pictures clearly (and we mean, clearly) show!

Schultz is a photographer, so this fashion of pictures isn’t new to her, nor are the poses that you might expect from birth pictures. She had a fellow photographer take them, however, seeing as she was, well…indisposed. Her posts have gone viral, and the announcement of their 22″ long neutered male kitteh has over 37,000 comments from well-wishers (and others not wishing so many good tidings!) to the family.

They’d not named the baby, as often is the case in new births, but shared that he’s an overachiever as he’s already eating solid food. Schultz knew she’d get some reaction, but she is surprised to be known as the ‘lady who gave birth to a cat.’ (She should know she made it look like she gave birth to a cat, shouldn’t she?)

So welcome to your new family, neutered but unyet named male kitten. Your life will be completely normal, we are sure of it.
